In the time of lent we something called Triduum( Three celebrations, Washing of the feet, veneration of the cross, and easter sunday.

Ways to pray

I am learning about different ways and forms of praying, like attending mass. Here are 

some of the ways that I pray.

Holy Thursday

Thursday 28th March 2013.

Today is Holy thursday.  St Pius X school celebrated The Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ by performing a play.  In the play(Act) I was an Apostle and soldier in the beginning I was nervous, but as time went by the nerves turned into confidence.  In the play we (soldiers) had to crucify Jesus.

When I was an Apostle, I had to sit in front of the alta and eat and drink the bread and wine.  When I was a soldier we had to take Jesus to the back then give him a cross.  Near the end of the play we( soldiers ) had to take Jesus of the cross and lay him on the ground.

Triathlon

e whole field lastly we had to run around the whole field . To me it  was very tiring and fun at the same time .  The room 7 girls went before us(room 7 boys).  When it was time for our turn I was very nervous.

On a calm day room 7 and 6 got the chance to do triathlon. Mostly known as Swim, Bike, Run . Early in the morning room 7 and 6 got changed into our togs. I was very excited because I there was a slide .   Room 6 girls went first then it was the room 6 boys . We had to slide on the slide four times then we had to choose a bike then ride around th

The room 7 boys rushed around the slide four times.  Then I ran to a bike then picked it up.  It was really hard to pedal because it was on grass it was even hard to stay sitting on our bikes.  When I got to transition I hopped off my bike and started running as fast as I could.  Once I got to the finish line I was so puffed that I could hardly talk.  At the end of triathlon I felt proud because I completed triathlon.

Welcome to 2013.

Kia ora, and welcome to my Blog for a brand new year.  On Friday we(room 7) made an assembly to show what we have been learning in the past 3 weeks, the group I was in made a rap about the temptation of Jesus. This year my teacher's name is Mrs Tui, and I am a year 7 student. I enjoy playing games and watching cartoon's.

We recently went to St Ignatius School to participate in their General Knowledge Quiz, The GOLDEN POINTS TEAM came first, and our team, (The Unstoppables) did not win a place but we were still glad to participate and enjoyed the experience.
