Hamish Bond was born and raised in Dunedin and was born on 13 February 1986. The 26 year old is an New Zealand Rower.
Hamish Bond and Eric Murray are the rowing team for New Zealand. In the London olympics Hamish and Eric won Gold for New Zealand. They also won an award, it was for best team of the year. Bond was named the 1000 th person in New Zealand history to join the olympics. The name of the club Hamish was in was Otago Boys(NZ, Dunedin).
Hamish Bond joined the Olympics in the 2008 Beijing Olympic games. His three coaches are, Chris Nilsson, Fred Strachan, and Dick Tonks. He also took part in the 2007 championships. Hamish and Eric have always been equalled with the British pair Pete Reed and Andrew Triggs-Hodge.
I am looking forward to the next Olympics so I can cheer for the team. This time the Olympics will be held in Rio, Brazil .................Go New Zealand!
